At Oak Ridge, we are committed to creating safe, fun environments where all youth feel welcome, come to know more about Jesus, and experience His love through the influence and support of adults that care about and invest in them.
Student Life is a ministry for by our church seeking to reach more of the community’s youth with the message of the gospel. The program starts with homework help after school on Wednesdays. This is followed by a “party with a purpose” featuring dinner, games, and a short message from scripture.
On Wednesday nights at 6:30, our youth gather for worship, games, and Bible study.
On Sunday mornings at 9:00 A.M., students in grades 6-12 gather for Bible study that is tailored to the unique challenges they face in today’s world.
Wake Up Call
Since we are located right next to a K-12 school, we have an incredible opportunity to share the love of Jesus with the students, faculty, and staff. One of the ways we do that is through our Wake Up Call ministry where we serve breakfast on our campus for high school students every Thursday morning at 7:15. Our desire is to share the love of Jesus through an awesome free meal and to build relationships with students that point them to Jesus. All high school students are invited to join us.
These weekly opportunities are complemented by a series of special events outside of our regular schedule designed to provide our youth even more opportunities to experience the love of Jesus in their lives and the importance of a community of faith in becoming who God has created them to become.
